Officially established in 2018 as part of the Production of the film "Road to Damascus", Swamplake Productions' origins actually date back to the early 2000's and the childhood movie making of our founder:

Based in Saint Paul, Minnesota-  our identity and philosophy is tied to the rhythms of our home state's cattail choked wetlands and rolling plains.

While our scripts are developed internally through extensive workshopping, we strive to remove the barriers that exist between emerging artists and their goals and we invite developing writers and storytellers to send us inquiries. We also offer a wide range of consultation services.

If your project interests us, you will be invited to join our Writer's Workshop where we develop scripts with extensive coverage and feedback along with 1-on-1 sessions with our producers. Our commitment goes beyond simply producing work internally, we also seek to connect Writers with like-minded Producers, Directors, Cinematographers and Actors in a genuine effort to get their films made.

Our commitment to putting the artist first extends well beyond our development style and into every phase of Production. Working closely with our Filmmakers, we ensure every aspect of the project is in alignment with their vision.

From Short Films and Features, to Music Videos and Trailers- our editing team is fast, efficient and versed in a wide variety of styles. And when they're not too busy they offer consultations to filmmakers struggling to get the most from their material.
